Concert Time!!
3 weeks until the Concert! It's time to shine!
The will to succeed is important, but what's more important is the will to prepare.
Miss Shandell Director of the Starlite Dancers prepares every student to meet the challenges of the Concert by developing their confidence and spirit.
Attendance this term to classes & Concert extra rehearsals is essential to preparing students for their "Starring" performance at the Concert.

Please note the following dates & times;
A draft running sheet of the Concert program order has been emailed for Concert Dress Rehearsals to ensure students are relaxed and prepared for the Concert for their costumes changes.
Available the last week of dance is a keepsake Concert program which includes photo's of 2010 dance students and the Concert format.Photo's for the program will be taken at the dress rehearsals so "Good Grooming" is essential.A practise for the Concert night with hair. A detailed newsletter of grooming and costumes to be advised.Pictured below last years Program;

Concert Dvd's are by "Masterpiece Photography" please see order forms on the studio fee table.
Studio 2010 keepsake/presentations will be presented to each student at the Concert Dress Rehearsals.
Concert night;
As you all understand we cannot have children coming down into the audience unless it is costume change , nor can they be sitting on the floor or dancing in the aisles as it will distract the performers ,"The Stars" who have worked so hard to perform for you on the day.No flash photography during the concert because it will interrupt the DVD being recorded.
Also please respect that no parents, students or friends are allowed on the back stage unless they are in the dance performing, I don't like having to ask people to leave the stage area.
Costumes are in the final process , everyone performing in the concert has received an invoice with how much they owe on the costume. If you have paid money into the costume account this will be taken off your account. Please be aware students performing in the Concert need the correct shoes, jazz shoes ,tap shoes & ballet shoes with ribbons and tan, fiesta shimmer jazz stockings/tan dance tights.
An updated newsletter will be emailed.
There will also be plenty of programme order signs hanging around on the day so please keep an eye on when you need to be with your group ready to go on.Other than that, please relax and try not to stress, it will all be fantastic, the children know what they're doing on stage and we just want them to get out there and smile and have fun!! We really appreciate all the hard work you put in to bringing together such a wonderful show and we love showing you how talented they are at the end of the year!
